I’ve enjoyed reading both your reviews. Seems like Grand Seduction is a feel-good community film–all for that. Mystery Road, your favorite so far?
Yeah. Followed by Intruders and Joe, which are in a virtual tie for second.
Hi Josh! Man I’m even more gutted I didn’t see Mystery Road, I could see why that’s your fave so far. I think The Grand Seduction is my fave because it’s the kind of comedy I love, heartwarming & goofy and not mean-spirited, plus it’s got Gleeson who always delivers!
And now I’m even more bummed out I didn’t see The Grand Seduction. π
I’m sure I’ll have opportunities.
I almost missed it the first time around as it was sold out! I technically could get in as I had one ticket but my hubby was w/ me so I rescheduled it. It was well worth the effort. I really hope it’d at least be available on iTunes or Netflix later, it’d be a shame if more people don’t get to see it. It’s similar to Waking Ned Divine but I actually like this one a lot more.
I haven’t seen Waking Ned Divine either. Should I?
I think it’s quite fun so yeah, why not π The setting is beautiful, just like this one as well. Made me want to go to Newfoundland!
Alright. That one just hit the list, as well. π
Reading the coverage from you both has been fabulous! Great, great job!
Thanks, Keith!
You’ve been busy! Great stuff buddy; wish I was there!
Interesting set of pictures here. I’m going to have to look these up. Great job as always.
Thank you!
Glad you liked Mystery Road! Great review, by the way π
Thank you. That movie really is pretty remarkable.
