I have added the following reviews of 2014 releases:

On a semi-related note, I saw a trailer for The Fault in Our Stars, prior to the start of Divergent; even the preview made me tear up. I shudder to consider the film’s impact.

  1. I’ll be checking out your review of Divergent shortly. As for The Fault of Our Stars, I have the exact same reaction. I actually said to Ansel Elgort after the interview 2 wks ago that I was a basket case watching the trailer, not sure I could handle the film!

    • It went wide around me last weekend – before that it was only at the art house theater. Hopefully the fact that is now on a wider release means you get it soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

      Hopefully.

  2. I feel like I have been living under a rock in regards to The Fault in Our Stars. The first time I ever heard about it was on Tuesday night at our monthly film lovers pub night. One of the women there was telling me about the significance of the book (which I also did not know existed). I still have yet to see the trailer, but she pretty much sold me on the film based on its back story alone.

    • In your defense, it isn’t scheduled for release until June, I think. It’s marketing blitz hasn’t hit full force yet.

And the book. Wow. It is one of the ten most emotional novels I have ever read, give or take. (And I read a lot of books.) I highly recommend giving it a read.

Maybe don’t see the trailer first, though. It contains more than its share of spoilers (which is why it made me tear up).
