Needless to say, none of these films have feel-good narratives. Which can be said for seven of the last eight movies I’ve seen. If it weren’t for Last Vegas‘ levity, I might need to seek psychiatric help.

None of them are great, but all of them are entertaining and three of them are above average. When it comes to movie releases, November, December and early January are the best time of year!

Both are flawed, but, at the very least, Much Ado is above average. The Counselor, on the other hand, yikes. Rarely do people talk so much to say so little, unless they’re leading a press conference, I suppose.
